Leighton Meester, an American actor, model, singer and songwriter, is a multi-talented artist. Leighton Meester's professional career began in the early years of her life in the role of Blair Waldorf on the popular television series 'Gossip Girl'. When she was a kid she was a part of an local stage production that starred in the 'Wizard's of Oz'' following which her interest in acting grew. Her first jobs were as a model, and later in commercials. Apart from her duties as a model in fashion, she also posed for the brands of 'Herbal Essences" 'Vera Wang', 'Jimmy Choo', and 'Ralph Lauren'. Her acting career began with a guest appearance in the show on television 'Law and Order'. She has since performed in various television and feature films which include 'CountryStrong and 'Monte Carlo', and Killer Movie. In addition to her role as an actor, Meester performed with some of the most famous musicians such as 'Cobra Starship,' artist Robin Thicke, and recorded songs. Leighton Meester is credited with "Billboard Top Hits" in her tracks.
